I discovered Lazy Nights 3 years ago while browsing the "new" section of this very page. It was impressive for a first release and I congratulated the author, to which he responded with the following:

I was blown away by this response and I made sure to share in my discord server where we clowned on him for his edginess.

After the game gained some traction, he said this:

Which, given what he posted today, is even more troublesome.

While I did believe this might be an ARG, he made sure to taste otherwise:

Which prompted me to report him, as what he was saying seemed to imply he needed help and I believed GameJolt should, at the very least, contact him to check if he was just kidding or not.

IF what he was saying was true, then it was clear this guy was mentally ill. However, I had another theory, one which I still maintain after everything, I believe this is all just a hoax, an ARG which GetLazy has gotten tired of.

Today he posted a game, supposedly it was Lazy Nights but it wasn't. Here's a review from 10 years ago from said game:

The game explicitly states the "young girls" (children) in the game, which are involved in sex scenes, are minors between 8-10 years old. So this developer has shared child pornography (in the form of anime, which doesn't make it better) in this platform. Not only that but he has also changed his banner and profile pic to that of BerndSoft, the developer of this depraved game.

This shit can't be allowed in this platform and this person should, obviously, be banned.

This has been his response.

He says he joined the U.S. military after 9/11, he was trying to capture his experience in the military in this game. But, he couldn't. Lazy Town apparently got him out of his depression caused by the war. He says current kids media has been ruined by bad quality, identity politics and attacks against HIM and the U.S.

The current ongoing wars game brought him down and he talks about how lonely he is and about how this game no longer brings him joy so he is quitting. He seems to be hinting towards taking his own life.

This is a very serious subject matter, what he is going to quit making what he says kept him alive for 13 years.

However, none of his messages addresses the game he posted, a game which isn't popular at all btw, there's barely any information about it online. He has also changed his name to LazySoft, further hinting at a connection between this awful game and him.

This game is german, and Bernd is the term used in the german 4chan board. I believe the following possibilities are what we should consider:

1. All he is saying is true and he is just extremely mentally ill and probably a risk to his own life and others, and he's still a pedophile since he posted a child porn game.

2. He's lying, he is german and was making an ARG around the whole game but the got tired of it and decided to cancel it while keeping appearances up by staying in character, and he's still a pedophile since he posted a child porn game.

3. He is BerndSoft, who is german, so he would still be lying and the implication would be a whole lot deeper, and he's still a pedophile since he posted a child porn game.

Basically, all we know is, this guy is a pedo who posted a game featuring sex scenes of 8-10 year olds and who talked about how everyone should share this game with as many people as possible and and big channels.

And he always talked about cancel culture, and the "truth seeking" and now he mentions how "identity politics" ruined child media for him, an adult. And, while trying to say goodbye, he still pushes that forward.

3 years ago, I blocked him, cause I knew there were too many "red flags", the "red pilled" speech was all over his messages, and this community still made him famous.

This guy obviously needs to be banned right now, I've already reported him and you should too. While the story he is telling is dark, and sad, it doesn't change that what he did today was malicious and it wasn't out of the blue, as he had the time to make his own custom header for the occasion.

I'm hoping this can reach a more popular user so that everyone can reach this information.

I'm, once again, ashamed to be part of this community and I'm hoping we, for once, learn something out of this situation.

Another red flag to top it all off.
