A big patch has appeared!
The long awaited patch is being released today.
Finally.
So, the final changelog for this patch is as follows:
Gave the protagonist a voice (Experimental)
This should give the player a few tips, and help tell the story as the game goes on.
If you hate this, tell me. I shall remove it if people don’t like it.
Changed how particles are rendered.
Changed them from the CPU to the GPU. This should allow there to be more on the screen at any time, while also rendering faster.
Also changed the rain, waterfall, and fire sprites to better ones.
Added areas for the particles to be, and not to be rendered. For realism.
Changed one of the 2 possible endings.
Lets be honest, Herobrine appearing behind you and punching you is cliche, predictable, and overall retarded.
No, I will not tell you what I replaced it with, you must see for yourself ;)
Made the menus friendlier for different aspect ratios.
Should actually display more of it if you have an aspect ratio of 4:3
Please give me feedback because I don’t know how well this will work.
Lots of level tweaks.
(Hopefully) Fixed the game freezing at the transition between forest and village. Should pre-load it before rendering, allowing for a smoother transition.
