GraviFlip - Straight from LD Right Into Your Face!

Strap on your space suit, take control of gravity and stomp and stomp and stomp until all bugs and robots are gone from your space station!

GraviFlip is a Game Boy-styled retro arcade experience that’ll have you falling head over heels in no time. Because it’s a game about flipping gravity, you see. But it’s also pretty good - at least good enough to make the Top 10% of Ludum Dare 31! And no, I will not stop mentioning that anytime soon.

Give it a whirl and please leave feedback in the form of ratings and/or comments!

This new version contains several improvements and new features compared to the original LD compo entry:

  • Gravity-affected enemies are now easier to destroy

  • All menus can now be navigated with the keyboard

  • Adjusted the difficulty curve

  • The tutorial is expanded and has been separated from the game proper

  • Added high score tables and achievements

  • There’s now a short countdown before the game starts

  • Enemies now explode when hit

  • Added a new enemy type

  • Added a shield power up that protects from one additional hit

  • General improvements to stability and performance

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Why walk when you can jump?

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
