Guppy’s Mystery – Devlog 31.05.25 | Back on Track & Discord Incoming

Hey there, GameJolt explorers!

Kuba here. It’s been a hot minute since my last post, so first off thanks for sticking around. Real life went into overdrive: lots of extra work at work, a pile of errands, and I officially crossed the 18-year mark yesterday. (Level-up achieved!) Posting paused, but development never stopped let’s dive into what’s been brewing behind the curtain.

What moved forward while I was quiet

  • Brainstorm Vault
Two notebooks now crammed with fresh puzzles, scare setups, and lore crumbs. The notebook pages look like a conspiracy wall strings, arrows, everything.

  • Level Block-outs
The apartment tutorial and the backstage corridors are fully grey-boxed. You can walk the entire route front to back without cheats, and it already feels claustrophobic.

  • New Faces
I designed two brand-new characters destined to join the cast.

  • Prop & Poster Art
Finished a vintage safety poster for the theatre lobby picture.

  • Community Hub
Spent the last week wrangling bots and roles for the official Discord server. Channels, reaction-roles, and a ticket bot for bug reports are 80 % done. Target: public invite by the end of this week.

I’d love your input

  • Which devlog content do you want more of?
    • GIF timelapses • technical breakdowns • story teasers • something else?

Drop your thoughts below your feedback helps me steer the next update.

Thanks again for hanging around while life fired off side quests. Plenty more is on the way. Stay spooky, and keep the magic moving!

🎨 Prop Work After Work One Step at a Time

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Fan art for Foolish I'm feeling kinda better so I drew this

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Strange Umbrella

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

An infected room from the second part of Cybel ! Are you up for some cleansing?
