So yeah I told a couple of my friends I'm a furry and at first they were all chill about it, they asked me a couple questions about what the community is like and what animal my fursona is (it's cinderace btw)

so since then we started having convo's about furries and I started to talk about my oc's lore and stuff like that

but now I haven't talked to 3 of my friends since a month ago even though before we were texting on an almost daily basis

I thought that they mightve been busy or had other life problems but yesterday one of them called me and explained why they haven't been texting me

he said their parents had seen their messages to me and don't want them to be friends with me anymore

its not like I had sent them anything sexual either the worst thing i might've said was fuck or something so its just pure anti furry

and I understand that there's not much they can do if their parents tell them they cant text me anymore and Im definitely not encouraging anyone to disobey their parents but this really hurts me

I know that at least 2 of these ppl are on gamejolt so if this comes across your feed guys (you know who you are) please know I'm not mad at you for anything and you guys were great friends and please respect what your parents say about who your allowed to contact

if you read this all the way to this point thanks I just needed somewhere to vent about this but the moral of the story here is be careful who you tell about being a furry cuz not everyone is open or appreciative
