It's unbelievable that this series is already 10 years old.
When I first discovered this game, it was through a friend that had FNaF 2 on his mother's mobile phone. When I was little I was a very coward kid, so this game actually gave me nightmares, as I always tried to evade anything that was horror-related. But, because I was in front of my friends, I tried to be brave for them to not pick on me.
After a year, I actually started to like the series thanks to various youtubers, like Dawko, Markiplier, Fernanfloo and Zellendust. I also remember expecting with my friends the next releases and playing the demos with them.
I remember as well seeing the first FNaF: Sister Location teaser and watching ALL the videos and animations I could find of Sister Location before it was released. I waited the whole summer for the game and played it when it got released, as well as watching Dawko's videos.
Since then, I became very invested not only in FNaF, but in the horror genre in games and movies in general. Five Nights at Freddy's has actually been the little push I needed to overcome my fear to the horror genre, and I'm thankful for it.
Thanks Scott Cawthon and FNaF for all of this. I hope many more years of new games and horror.
Thanks for reading, hope yall have a good day!
