Hellhole Island update 1.5.4.0 has been released!


Additions:

  • New caves entrance which can be unlocked by breaking barrier with a titanium drill

  • Aquanium ore, which can be found in fishing crates and can be used to craft a sword, a bow and a fishing rod

  • Added new Crazy Clown mini-boss, which can be damaged by being pushed into one of his bombs. He drops the knife weapon.

  • Added sea at the bottom of the map.

  • Added placeable ores.

  • Added emerald mushrooms and rock trees

  • Added mining helmet

  • Added sunflowers, which buff player damage when nearby

  • Added a ruined house that spawns at the shore of the island

  • Added a few small worldgen features

  • Added new enemies: Angry Firefly, Furious Cloud and Garden Gnome

  • Updated the flamethrower weapon

  • Added toast and a toaster

  • Added grenades

  • Added chairs

  • Added the ability to pass through enemies during invinciblity frames

  • You can now press the F button to quickly consume food

Changes:

  • Nerfed running and lighting shoes

  • Ore Golem is now much easier and his health has been reduced to 2000

  • Fixed exploit with geodes and enemies

  • Added money to creative mode inventory

  • You can no longer use mysterious crystal when a boss is spanwed

  • Fixed health bars exceeding their range

  • When fishing, clicking the left mouse button always returns line

  • Fixed campfire rain behaviour

  • Updated layering of solid blocks

  • Beds no longer make you immune to damage

  • Fixed item lag on large worlds or on worlds with a lot of blocks

  • Fixed explosion lag on large worlds or on worlds with a lot of blocks

  • Fixed issues with savefiles on imported worlds

  • New game icon

  • Fixed water bottle filling/cow milking leaving dragged null item

  • Fixed farmland being tiltable under bed half

  • Magma Monster explosions no longer chain explosives

  • Rain is now much more common

  • Increased enemy spawn rates

  • Titanium bow arrow now pierces enemies

  • Mysterious crystal no longer drops from ore golem and has been removed from creative mode inventory

  • Teleporters now work properly between mines and overworld

  • Crops now grow much slower

  • Improvements to block grid selection square

  • Increased enemy cap to 70

  • Updated weapon hitbox

  • Tree guardian now drops from 350 to 500 oak wood

  • Travelling Merchant is now rarer

  • Fishing crates are now much more common

  • Iron Rod is now crafted using anvil

Technical changes:

  • Added new animation system for enemies and implemented it for them

  • Added structure system

  • Fixed some terrible code
