The context for this is that Dave [pictured] was a kind and gentle young man, who didn't want to hurt anyone. However, his father, Wes, was the complete opposite, as he led his armies to wipe out an entire country that kidnapped and murdered his wife.
Wes told his son that he was weak and useless, and that he was too feminine to have any worth. So Dave started cross-dressing and quickly became depressed, as most people would.
He just wanted a loving father...
