Here's the tldr:
I LOVED IT AND IT'S EVERYTHING I'VE EVER WANTED, at least a 9/10. Im not letting anyone convince me that it's a mid movie (but i do advice you watch it yourself to form an opinion because depending on what you want from the movie, you're either gonna love it or hate it)
The long version:
IT'S AN AWESOME MOVIE (in my opinion that is)
I loved almost everything even though it wasn't lore accurate, the set and animatronics design was awesome ofcourse but i was also invested in mike and abby's relationship and the movie's take on the animatronics
The scary moments were awesome, even the sillier/goofier moments were fun to watch (the fort scene for example) and balloon boy's comeback for being hated by the fandom
I also loved the little youtuber cameos (matpat did THE THEORY LINE, HE SAID IT)
As an OG fan, the movie was an awesome watch and i recommend it personally
It's probably an unpopular opinion but i loved that the movie didn't only portray the murderous side but also child-like side of the animatronics, reminding us that they're possessed by children (And i've always been a sucker for not only the spooky side but also the side of fnaf that gives personalities to the animatronics)
I also loved that the cupcake was a danger and a bit of a biter as well (it reminded me alot of nightmare chica's cupcake)
and the fact that they had foxy's dum dum dum dum dum
AND THE FNAF 1 SONG IN THE CREDITS
I do understand the perspective of the people who didn't like the movie (not being lore accurate or it being a bit silly sometimes) but the fnaf lore has always been a mess and i completely get the fnaf movie not wanting to deal with that
And fnaf's always been a bit silly and hasn't ever been truly realistic or made complete sense so i welcome a bit of sillyness in the movie with open arms
anyways that's it
FNaF movie art soon
