My grandpa was never the best, he ... Was actually really bad to my family but he was really kind and a big grandpa with me. He was protective and someone that always took me to go through adventures around Teruel, mountains and rivers. For the family was a horrible dad, masclist, sexist, well... Spanish man of the 70', when I was little, my family (grandma, mother and uncles) left the Teruel house, I was confused because mum told me "You won't be able to see your grandpa again".
Years later, almost... 8 years later, I was able to visit him again. He actually changed, physically and psychologically. He was really happy to see me and my mother, my mother took the chance to enjoy a father that she always wanted to have... So we visited him each month (cuz is 3 hours of car trip).
Grandpa was diagnosed with cancer, bone's cancer and later his liver got infected with cancer too... He got worse and worse... 'till today. It's been just minutes that he left this world and went to a better place. Heh... I'm sure he's hunting up there... Like the old times in his fully happyness and finally having some final rest.
