Hi! sorry if I'm a bit of a noob to y'all asking this question but I haven't coded before really ever in my life and was trying to research what language godot uses.
EITHERWAY!
Should I try and learn python or GDScript?
Next up
10/07/2024 - day 14
FINALLY it works. I can finally move on with my days onto another feature but yes I finally figured out how to make it work. No other features to discuss but this took way too long.
11/07/2024 - day 15
Been working on the clock again and decided to do it the annoying way by doing it frame by frame. now its time assemble the frames although thats a lot of frames to play in an animation so I'll see how it takes it first.
07/07/2024 - day 11
I decided to take a break from the clock and work on the lighting system in the game. Now technically Gdevelop already has one built in but it messes with the day and night cycle so I have been trying to find ways to change that.
03/07/2024 - day 7
development has been pretty slow near the end off the week, but I finally started placing assets around, I think the house needs to be expanded a little bit though as the rooms are too small in their current state.
06/07/2024 - day 10
Posting early to say that I won't be working on my game all day because friends but yeah been working on this in game clock again. trying to make each day 24 minutes so thats going to be cool. This is probably the most coding I'll do.
Okay so for 2 days I put myself back in touch with my project. I went back to the thing bugging me the whole time I was developing the game before and it's the lights. For now they are going to look a little lame but I desperately want to fix them.
05/07/2024 - day 9
Today I've been working on the time/day and night system all day. I initially thought to match the day with irl time but that soon proved to be a bad idea and opted for this sun and moon system. its either night or day. No time. (yet)
