when a creation has comments — or a user has shouts — from friends and from users you follow, there goes a hint above the comments with two buttons:

(see comments from people you follow)
if only one of these groups made comments on the creation, the hint is adjusted:
this game has comments from friends
(see comments from friends)
if someone is a friend and someone you follow (like most friendships on Game Jolt), the user is counted as a friend but not as someone you follow when evaluating if the "friends and people you follow" variant or the "only friends" variant of the hint should be shown
but if the "friends and people you follow" variant is shown, friends you follow are included with the comments by people you follow
this hint is shown above the "comments from blocked users" hint
unlike comments from blocked users, comments from friends and from users you follow are not hidden from the standard comments section
