That's right! You can download the app to use the editor offline! Mmmmm! What a great and original idea to come up with! ๐

Where is the Linux version?

Supposedly in QUOTATIONS, the Scratch Team is working with partners and the open-source community to help make the Linux version of Scratch, but it's been YEARS and we heard nothing from it.

And why the heck do I have to worry about the Scratch offline editor on Linux? TurboWarp has the Linux version, I mean, helloooooo?

With TurboWarp being on the Linux Snap Store basically proves that the TurboWarp developers are MUCH harder workers than the Scratch Team themselves. I guess they're too busy banning people and projects and lowering the quality of Scratch. Wow. This is truly a high level of laziness as any other Scratchers who put in low effort onto their projects. ๐

There is a direct download...and why does that exist? ๐ค

These updates are barely anything. They're just plain bug fixes and improvements. ๐

Scratch is loading...uh...OK...well, then hurry up!

The editor is just as lame as ever. ๐ฅฑ

Why would you wanna send the Scratch Team your data if they're not going to support the offline editor that much? This is useless.

I can't share my projects from the offline editor anymore. ๐

Is it just me or do these sections look a bit too big?

There is should've been an option to change the zoom/editor size. Some PCs may have a lower resolution which can make the offline editor a bit stressful to use.

I feel like this link feature needs to come with the offline editor. You STILL need to download an app that requires an internet connection. I know it's just another app but think about this:
If you recently bought an extension from the store and brought it to a place outside of your home, you NEED an internet connection in order to download the Scratch Link app, and even if you do have an internet connection outside of your home, there is no point of using the offline editor anymore. And ALSO you need a FREAKING app in the ONLINE EDITOR, TOO?
What the heck?

Some of the extensions are so freaking expensive. I never got any of these extensions for Scratch before, but I feel like it is ridiculous since I don't see a lot of features within them.

We know that LEGOs and some other stuff are expensive, but good luck affording this stuff. It LITERALLY cost HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO GET EVERYTHING!

And also some extensions require an internet connection. Bruh. ๐

Some extensions are kind of hard to use because, for this video sensing extension, you have to use a specific block like this:

And then set it to a specific number. 10 will set the sensitivity level to high and the higher number will set it to low.

The pen is difficult to program.

You have to put the pen up and down over and over again to draw this way that way, ALL OVER THE PLACE!

The pen quality is trash.

Where is the cloud variables feature? Is this removed because the offline editor is...offline and cloud variables are useless? What kind of sense does that make? ๐คจ

For some reason, the quality in the offline editor kind of looks better than the online editor. Woohoo.

Double-clicking the project file from your file explorer doesn't work. All it does is just open the editor with a literally BLANK project. ๐
Some people think that they lost all of their hard work of development because of this lack of feature, like this guy for example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfEadOj-X_Y
(I'm not harassing this dude, btw. I can't be rude. )
Hahaha! Little did they know that the Scratch website will be downgrading annually! ๐
So, how can I actually load my Scratch project into the offline editor? Well, then open the editor FIRST and then load the project manually.

๐ป ๐ โ. ๐

And Turbo Mode is still as useless as ๐ผ๐๐ผโ. ๐

Exporting any costume, sound, or sprite requires LITERALLY requires you to select a place to put it. Wow. ๐

Is there a SAVE button anywhere? Almost all editor apps have the save button but the Scratch offline editor doesn't?
This means you LITERALLY have to click save to your computer, and replace the project file over and over again every time you want to save a project. ๐ This is pretty annoying.

YES! I WANT TO REPLACE IT BECAUSE THERE IS NO SAVE BUTTON ANYWHERE! ๐ซ

Where is the backpack? The TurboWarp Offline Editor has the backpack, but COME ON, this is stupid! ๐ซ

The cat header blocks has YET to return as a privilege. I doubt the cat blocks ever came to the offline editor if the app is connected to the internet on April Fools 2020.

Come on! Get a MOOOOOO-VE ON! ๐ซ
...
I went too far there, didn't I? ๐ฅบ
OMG. Thatโs a lot of writing! ๐ฎโ๐จ
Look, if you want to get untriggered, then get the TurboWarp app from now on.
Download link: https://desktop.turbowarp.org/
It has all of the features and freedom you need for game development!
Be sure to stay sane, and try not to get yourself into any trouble, alright reader?
Alright! Have a good day, everyone! ๐โ๏ธ
