I am a dumbass

You know, I have been posting before about development issues in my project, and this one is definitely worth a post because of how stupid it is
Cus you know, sharing experience and mistakes is important, even if they are embarrassing to admit

All this time I was doing stuff like in pic 1, where I was making these huge piles of code doing same thing but with slide changes from object to object, not really thinking about optimizing it, since it wasn't impacting the performance

What I didn't realize is that I could just make a function within the script that will do this pile of code so I wouldn't need to write it again, just using the function itself and then writhing slide changes that I need afterwards, like in pic 2

Now I need to reconsider my life choices and maybe trim down some code that I made before
It won't probably matter since only thing this mistake impacted was code readability and time spent on coding, and changing it now won't make things better, since I want to move on from this project as soon as I finish custom night and android port

In any case, it's good that I am learning, even if it took me a whole year
I suppose there's not much left to write about this project, since it's almost finished, but I will try not to fall in the same pit with my next one
But thank you for reading this anyway, Im happy to make mistakes and share them with others, hope you've learned something or at least had a good laugh
