Hey, everyone! I recently beat Elemage and Chup’s Quest! Why am I announcing this here exactly? Well, as I’ve said in the other devlog, I’m playing through Scott Cawthon’s Non FNAF games to conduct more research about what will make an appearance in this game. Now that I’m done with Elemage and Chup’s Quest, here’s what I think will happen for these two games:
Elemage definitely has potential to have a role in my FNAF World fan game with its characters and environments. The only downside is that in the original game, Elemage didn’t have names for the majority of its enemy roster. But thanks to @BigAl0104
’s remastered PC port of the game, the enemies and bosses now have headcanon names! Because of this, the enemy roster for Elemage might have a role in FNAF World: When Worlds Collide!
As for Chup’s Quest, there’s a good chance that I won’t use the enemy roster because the game itself is a top down RPG; kinda like the classic Zelda games. The angle for the enemy sprites won’t look right when you fight them in battle in my game. While that sucks, there's a bright side. The environments from Chup's Quest can help expand the Mushsnail level along with the name of the locations.
That's about it for now. I'll let you all know if I beat more of Scott's pre FNAF games (or at least play enough of them) and what potential their assets have for my FNAF World fan game. See you all later!
