The movie is around a 8/10 for me. Yes there are some problems but the movie is a great movie. In fact I’m watching it on peacock as I’m writing this ( I’m at the part where Mike is calling William to get the job.) I want to go over all the good and bad parts of the movie!

I want to talk about the intro sequence with the old night guard and the minigame intro. HOLY CRAP this was honestly the best part of the movie. To see the old night guard get thrown into the Freddy torture machine by foxy and see all the minigame as the credits was just so perfect!!! The music was even better too!!!

I want to talk about the story and how much was removed and taken from the games. First I loved how they changed the map design to make the place feel a lot more fresh. This movie of course takes place in an alternate universe. The game has Mike looking for a job because he needs money bad to keep his sister when also trying to find answers of what happened to his brother who was kidnapped as a kid. The one problem with that is that it’s revealed that William took and killed his brother. The thing is that this game takes place in Utah and his brother was kidnapped in Nebraska. Why was William in Nebraska? Why was William after this random kid? Why did he do it in front of everyone? There is just a massive plot hole with that. But the story is great like the fact that Janessa is Williams daughter! ITS SO COOL!! The problem is that there was a lot from the game that I was kinda disappointed in cause it wasn’t in the film but was in the game. The power system, phone calls, etc. just a lot from the game like gameplay features weren’t a thing in this game. Also I thought the story of Aunt Jane was a really cool touch for story cause it was unique.

Designs and map were fantastic. The animatronics look incredible. Including the prop animatronics like the Endo skeleton, sparky the dog, springbonnie, and the baby spring lock suit! It was all incredible!

The cameos were incredible. Even tho there was only 2 there were incredible to see! Matpat came out of no where and Cory was expected but was still incredible!

the movie pacing was weird. That’s all I have to say

I don’t really know what else to talk about besides the ending. The ending was decent. William actin shows up out of nowhere with his springbonnie suit without any build up which was weird. Also the springlock suit scene were the animatronic snaps on William was underwhelming cause there was so blood and it didn’t really look like he was in pain. The acting was very raw.

The movie as a whole was pretty good and I have had a lot of fun with it! I would give it like a 8/10.
