I had to take down the video from the Scratch subreddit because people were telling me off for being upset that the game I put my heart and soul into was being accused of plagiarism 🫠ðŸ«
I actually hate this community on a new level.
I even posted code and screenshots but apparently a 2D sidescrolling Minecraft is too similar to a game made 12 years ago and therefore I should "make it less like Paper Minecraft".
Keep in mind, BOTH are Minecraft clones, and it already is different: it works like Minecraft. I can't get much more different than that.
Also if that upsets me I should apparently "work on my ability to take criticism" which is just a violation of boundaries on a level I thought wasn't possible. Holy shit.
