I'm back baby, with a table and the top of a gun!

Unreal is no more... for now! Question in the Article!

The question: Does the table look like a prop made for Roblox?

Everything after the question is more for my followers more than anything else.

Chapter 1: More than it seems....

This is more than just pictures, this is my return to the platform as a whole and the return of my passion of creating 3d models as well. These objects thought me a good lesson that I will never under estimate ever again... START SMALL, THEN GO BIG!!!!!! You have to learn your skills somewhere. NEVER EVER START WITH CHARACTER MODELS, always start with simple props like those. You learn much more as they are much simpler to make. For example, I had to start thinking about good topology for the cloth on the table as well as how to blend modeling and simulation together.

Chapter 2: The future...

As it stands, Roblox will be my next big stepping stone in my career of 3d modeling. I never was able to finish A SINGLE PROJECT before the table, which gave me an immense sense of accomplishment. From now on, low poly is my prime subject.

Chapter 3: Where was I for the past 6 months...

Sleeping, gaming, chillaxing, watching breaking bad, going to school, not doing the unreal project. It was just too complex for me, as I still don't have the skills to do such big game alone. Like I said in chapter 1, START SMALL, THEN GO BIG! Or in other words, Reduce the scope of your work of art by like 100 times. Even if it looks, feels, plays, written or even tastes ok, but it's nothing exceptional, you pasted the first test with at least an 80%! The other 20% comes later while you're learning all the minute things about your passion like the tools, the best practices, all the problems you will encounter, etc..

Chapter 4: In conclusion...

  • I'm back for another stretch of time, idk how long it will be... hoping to be more than just a month or 2.

  • Keeps all projects as small as you can handle.

  • DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS! JUST DO IT! 100 TIMES SMALLER!

P.S.: This feels like the biggest opportunity of my life... I hope it will go as planned...

P.P.S.: HAPPY NEW YEAR BTW !!!!!
