I'm Not Dead! (Yet...)

It's been a while (and by a while I mean a whole year), but I'm still around! If you've been following my page, I released a game, Orphan Obliterator, a while ago, so go play it if you haven't. I'm currently about half way done creating another game as of now. I'll probably reveal the game soon enough, and I hope to release around January to February. But take that with a grain of salt since as you probably know, meeting deadlines isn't my forte. But once my current project is released, I'll probably go back to working on my cancelled game, Astro Attack. But I know what you followed me for, that being Megamonsters. If I feel like I'm ready, I might start working on Megamonsters again. But mark my words, Megamonsters WILL be worked on and completed eventually, whether that be in a two years, 10 years, or when I'm on my deathbed.

While on the topic of Megamonsters, I've came up with 2 completely different ways the game will work. I'd like you to read about the 2 versions of the game, and then vote for which way Megamonsters should be developed.

First Idea: Story Version

In the story version, there is one map, similar to a Pokemon Region. There is a story with characters and plot points, like a campaign in a normal game. You start as a designated point on the map and gain access to new areas as you progressed through the story. There are also areas in certain parts of the map that you can't access when you first see them, but you can go back and explore them once you've gotten things later in the game. The goal of the game is to beat all 5 challenge masters (similar to gym leaders), and then the Grandmaster (similar to the Champion).

Second Idea: Infinite Version

In infinite version, you start off with a small base of operations and you only have one Megamonster. You can leave your base to explore an infinite and randomly generated world, similar to Minecraft or Terraria. As you explore you increase your rank by catching and fighting wild Megamonsters. You can also meet other NPCs randomly exploring your world. You can get them to move into your base by battling them and doing quest. You'll want to do this so that they can sell you items, adventure with you, and also just talk to them and befriend them. It's kind of like an Animal Crossing Village. As your rank increases, you can improve your base by decorating it and unlocking new items.
