I've been doing more work redesigning the models and textures for the next phase of StarGazer.
Behold, the new crate! π I think it's a vast improvement over the old one
I was never really happy with a lot of the early models I did for the game so I decided to re-do a lot of them having learned how to use Wings3D.
Definitely been a challenge but I think they look better. Although my texturing skills needs work.
Not really been able to do much game Dev lately but I did start to make more progress on level 3.
This is the commercial district with plenty of stores and restaurants littered about.
Finally finished all the weapons that I wanted to implement in my retro shooter.
Theres 8 in total including melee and here are the animations for the last 2. The plasma launcher and the rail gun.
I've been working on some alt death/gibbed animations when using specific weapons in the game.
Here's an example of one for the Bastion enemy. Now I just to get learn how to get it into the game π
I've created some destructible decoration sprites for StarGazer (π on)
Who doesn't love a bit of low-poly vandalism π
Sorry about the lack of updates recently. Been working on a little side project recently. Anyway, here's some action footage Including alternate death animations for the shotgun and a hidden secret at the end π
Updated the blood decals for the enemies to make it more 'spray-y" π
I might increase the decal spawn rate for a more bloody effect
