I recently started working on a computer game that may help aid in social change.
It involves homelessness, mental illness and addiction.
The game will be an adventure / survival / simulation game, and it’s goal is to create empathy for the homeless and help people understand the effects of prejudice and stigmas.
I am having a hard time keeping all my ideas together, making sense. I need some feedback and suggestions on my work.
I created a tool that generates starting stats for your character, and then it gives you societal labels to live under while you go on your homeless experience.
So in the game you have randomized traits that later the AI in the game will use to judge you. different things will be harder or easier for you based on how people judge you. It’s not right for people to judge, but they do and I want to illustrate possible ways of this having an effect on the homeless character.
So far this is a demo of the tool I made to create your profile.

Please try it out and imagine what the person it generates is like, what you think of them, how you think others would treat them etc. What it would be like for this person to try to find food and shelter. How the police would treat them etc.
Please help me out and suggest anything I might have overlooked or if you have any thoughts I need to hear them. I know one thing I forgot to add was war veteran status. THANK YOU I HOPE THIS IS A GOOD THING IM DOING #homelessjam
