I, The Great Papyrus, have some things to say.

im just not Paps. but seriously. read the article as i am trying to tell you something.

heres the truth.

i dont know how to make a turn based battle system. in any engine i mean. ive tried and it just falls apart. same with battle engines. thats why the quote on quote "catch" of ChibidokiTale is that you get no turn.

then, the fan games get the views which motivate me in life (as in to continue this path) and just in general. but i actually know how to make platformers and stuff like that, but it gets boring and repetitive and i dont know level design all that well.

I am thinking of finishing my game series (The Orange) and then shifting my focus more on fan games (while still making platformers and other original games.) and as i said, because my platformers/original-non fan games are the ones people obviously dont (fully) care for or even at all. so yeah.

AND NO IM NOT SAYING IM A FRAUD AND STUFF IM JUST SAYING WHY YOU REALLY DONT GET TURNS IN CHIBIDOKITALE AND STUFF LIKE THAT (im not saying that in an angry way if you were wondering)

favorite part about game development is the idea that firstly, you can create worlds at will & have fun with them, but i also like when people just make something up and that becomes something in your brain like, "Hey, i can make that!" its cool

honestly, just making the entire bounding box moving. i couldnt tell you why it was so hard, you just have to try yourself but holy crap i shouldve thought about finding a tutorial and engine for it a lot sooner... oh well, its done now isnt it?

Did you miss out on any of the games we highlighted from Steam Next Fest? They're all listed in the article. Check out their demos before Next Fest ends!

this was 2-3 days days of playing Undertale: Last Breath (Phase 3: An Enigmatic Encounter). I think i am going to be able to actually beat it eventually :3 #LastBreath #Undertale #UndertaleLastBreath

My great aunt used to scam me and my cousin cuz we clean her bathrooms every st.patrick's day we thought she paid us $20 each for doing it. no. she only paid us because it was st.patrick's day and she never told us that. it was free labor but we had fun!!

I have never thought about what my least favorite part about game development is. I think its coming up with all the different attack patterns and and mechanics in an Undertale fan game. or in level design. so i would say design as a whole.

Akatori is an epic metroidvania where you wield your staff to fight, jump, and explore diverse realms across different eras.

It's also one of the games that's part of Steam Next Fest!

Play the Steam Next Fest demo now: https://bit.ly/Akatori

My favorite kind of hell. Majora's Mask. A very dark game as you are a freakin 10 year old trying to stop the moon from crashing down to earth in 3 days. having to find the four giant thingies, to stop the moon, and all, its cool.
