Can't believe I drew this Pokémon fangame map on graph paper in high school instead of paying attention in class... And now, over a decade later, it's the region for my indie game with actual players running around on their own adventures!
Wrapping up 2021 and looking forward to the next 8 months of development! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwlV5wgMSig
The first public demo since the Kickstarter's launch is arriving on August 25th! Until then, our backers and patrons get to play around with the new features we've been adding over the past year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maErKsKlsZg
It's Officially ON!! 🔥 #BattleGemPonies Welcomes in the Year of the Fire Horse!🔥🐎🔥
Route Quartz is by far the laggiest map in the Unity editor. Some chunks of it refuse to load for a minute. Which is weird, because it's not even close to our biggest and busiest maps!
Never gonna stop punching the air about missing this opportunity by choosing to launch on mobile first. 🫠 (Development's running a year behind schedule and the self-inflicted suffering is nonstop.)
We made a big OOF and pushed out a build missing the extremely VITAL ability to swap out your newly caught ponies with the Gem Storage system in Town Hall!
So we patched that up just now and you can download the fixed 0.5.5 build on Itch and GameJolt!
We're decorating scenes around the map with little dioramas like this. A gang of sleeping Frufang can be found in this cozy corner of Dank Cave. (probably resting after some wild party)
2015 Overworld Dreams:
This is the PowerPoint slide I made to hype myself up when dreaming about turning my prototype into a fully explorable world.
Looking back, I can confirm, the game has all those biomes in a playable state right now.
