Well, I don’t know…
These are entirely speculative but people have been saying that Windows 12,
Will heavily rely on cloud services.
Heavily AI integrated.
Some subscription-based PCs.
If those are not the most terrifying things ever, I don’t know what is.
Just from reading those 3 components, it sends off an immediate shock of unpleasantness. This does not sound good at all. Imagine locking an entire OS behind a subscription paywall. That’s gotta be the most depressing thing I’ve ever heard.
If Win 12 breaks the pattern, we’re doomed.
Microsoft has been part of my life for over a decade. Just from watching the history of its selfish CEOs and the biggest Win 11 controversies, I’m experiencing some disillusionment.
I still use Win 11 because it’s just simply very convenient for me for my daily work, and I was able to heavily tweak its settings to get it to fit for my comfort. Plus, I experienced little to no issues with it. I haven’t gotten any ads, either.
Alright, I need to shut up before I unintentionally annoy anyone.
Then again, data collection, privacy, and offline support is one of the 3 most fundamental aspects everyone is talking about as of now.
Pretty much all I got. I couldn’t find anything else to say.
See ya.
