Basically his origin is that he was created as Zomboss to be his “ultimate weapon”, but due to frequently proving to be unable to act on Zombosses commands (mainly the ones regarding inflicting violence on others) as well as Zomboss abusing him for the same reason, the prototype Gravedigger ran from Zombosses castle and escaped in the dead of night, where he would later find a secluded, abandoned cabin in the woods, away from the war.
