Based on feedbacks, I reduced darkness of level select decorations making them look brighter and clearer. I also decided to create alternate level palettes for completed and incomplete state each. Here are some shots from the level select:

I make games because I love playing games and I'd like to make my own. And I have made many games since I've started my game dev journey.
My favorite part of game dev is boss design. Fighting enemies is fun but fighting bosses is even more fun. Turns out designing bosses is fun also. There are many patterns and styles to apply.
My game for Solo Dev Jam 5 has been shaping up nicely with levels, enemies and abilities.
