Basically the post talks about the community having impossibly high standards, and I agree.

When the community has such high standards, small devs will have a tough time trying to make a name for themselves, and it entirely takes out the fun of making a fangame.

The community can also be toxic towards devs when a game they made wasn't the level of some of the most popular fangames, when they usually don't even know the work that went into creating that game.

So in conclusion, the community has standards way too high, and often doesn't know all the hardships of making a game.
