Hey, everyone. How're we all doing? I hope you're all doing fine.
Now, I want to get straight to the point on this post, I really don't want to mess around until I get to the point... this has been a very rough year.

2025 has been incredibly rough, for me and Fran alike. Throughout the year's first quarter, we really focused on the game like never before, we really worked to the bone with fleshing out the storyline, working on new models and assets and coding a playable clickteam build. We were really hard at work to the point that we were convinced the game would launch in Summer of 2026 - which was an assumption made far too early. Now, its Fall of 2025, and we're stuck. Sure, things have been happening, i've been working on completing scripts and we've been hard at work on the clickteam build, but things have slowed down.

Real life took us by storm hard this year, in ways we couldn't have anticipated. It's no secret I enjoy drowning myself in my work, as I find comfort through fabricating a story of all that I wish that I was or all that I wish I was not. I enjoy managing projects that I can spill all my passion and joy into because it keeps me active, it almost feels like a n effective method of relaxation for me. I dive into my works of fiction because of all that goes on around me, all that I wish to bury. On the other hand, Fran's own personal matters have blocked him, in a way. They've placed him under a difficult position which I can't quite explain for privacy reasons, but it really is horrible and i've been praying for things to go well. He hasn't been online for much, and for good reason - things are going on and he's got more important matters to attend to, given all that has happened.

All in all, its been a shitty year for us.

Does this mean that Reconstructed's going to be canceled because of our own personal issues?

No. Absolutely not.

As a matter of fact, despite the post's morbid title, what lies ahead in the game's future is far brighter than what any of us might have anticipated.

Fran's going to be taking an extended break from development, given his recent circumstances. I will be taking over from this point until he's back and ready to return - Fran needs his space, so he'll be provided with such space away from the game's development to focus on what's important right now. I have devised an extended development plan with multiple team members on how to proceed with the game and, lets just say, things might end up in a much more productive place that this production has never before seen. If all things go well, things will be moving incredibly quickly and incredibly smoothly from this point onwards, as we have a clear and strict idea on what game we want to create and what story we wish to tell. In the coming months, we'll bring all our focus to completing all remaining 3D assets and producing a playable build of the Office gameplay and the game's post-shift sections.

However, unfortunately, there's a high likelihood that you guys might not hear from us for a while - i've also been developing a large marketing plan for Reconstructed, but it'll be a long time before this plan actually begins (hence, why we think it'll be a long time before you hear from us again). Its possible that this might be the last post you'll hear from me regarding Reconstructed in a long time, as we'll bring all our attention to production and marketing can only really begin at a very specific moment (you'll understand what I mean by this once it happens). For now, though, all we'll ask from you guys is to be patient. Just because the page has gone quiet, it doesn't mean that the game is dead - we will be working harder than ever behind the scenes, but we are certainly not in a position to provide with multiple updates like we were beforehand. It'll be a long time before you hear from us again but, once you guys do, it'll be worth it.

That's it for me, though. I really do hope each and every single one of you ladies and gentlemen are having an incredibly fine evening. I just got back home after playing cupid by hooking up my best friend with his crush, so I doubt I can feel even more exhausted than I already am haha. But I really do hope you're all enjoying your time and spending it wisely... its Halloween season! You guys got a costume prepped up for the upcoming parties? I know I do lmao.
