Hello everyone, I'm Marcos. Or Mark (Not confuse with the character I guess) or as you may know me by my username MarcosCR12 or MarkCR12.
I had a cringy OC back then, and I was known by the 'Markyoboi' meme in Scratch.
And I'm going to make a game.
- Summarised reason why I'm doing this:
Back when I was a kid, I loved video games and I still do. And my dad took me to some kind of academy for one day.
That's when I met Scratch.
At first, I didn't get into Scratch but in the summer break, I started saying 'Why not?' and well then it's when I started meeting people (@Gorestriker-Studios
, @TylerTheDevilGameJolt
, @thedumbforeskin620
, @JohntheGamer2114
, etc.)
That's when I noticed I wanted to make video games.
- What's Marky about?:
I know, very original name for a character.
Well you see Marky, it's the cringy OC I had, but that I took it to perfectionate it through the years to eventually make the series, its own thing.
The actual "real Marky game" would be some kind of platform game, that I would do, obviously if I had the enough programming knowledge to do so (Spoiler: I don't.).
If you came through my profile once, twice or more, or you know me, you probably know already some characters of this supposed 'series'.
So to make this 'supposed series' to just serie/s I want to make a game.
- What's Marky RPG about then?:
As the title says, it's an RPG, it will be similar to some games I like but nonetheless with its twists and unique mechanics.
So far, everything it's still a concept.
But it's a project I think I can surprise many people with, with what I am capable to do or not. (Including myself.)
Ah, and I do not want honestly be just 'another guy that makes a FNaF fan game'. Don't get me wrong, I love FNaF and I like a lot the job Scott did (As well a lot of FNaF fan games), but I want to be innovative.
- Will be this in Scratch?:
It's true that Scratch helped me a lot of making games or just projects, but I don't think Scratch would handle the game because I want to make it perfect.
So I will use Godot. Nonetheless, I will still use Scratch (Or specifically Turbowarp) to test things.
- How much will the project late?:
I don't know, the necessary I guess?
- Conclussion:
I will likely make a development server, just like Paxon and Tyler did with their work-in-progress games, but I will have to work a lot in the project and know how to do things without screwing them up.
And well I have to think a lot of things as well (Art style, characters, etc) just to make sure the game is actually enjoyable playing.
Said all of this, I would really appreciate it if all of you could show me your support in any way. I'm really hyped to make this!
Thank you.
