Five Nights With 39: Impurity

In celebration of 39's 7th anniversary, I've decided to give you all a small taste of Impurity with a short demo.


I want to stress the fact that this game is still very early in development, and the order of elements found in this demo will be different upon final release.

In this demo you will see a part of the opening sequence, part of the caves, some combat on the island, and a look at one of the abyss puzzles.

I welcome all forms of feedback, but the one I look for the most is in terms of game performance, especially outside on the Island.
Feel free to hit F2 on your keyboard to display the FPS counter and get back to me on whether if you can maintain a stable 60FPS or higher. Bonus points for sharing PC specs.

Known Issues:

  • The main Island may have some performance dips, depending on hardware specifications

  • Pre-rendered videos sometimes freeze, requiring a game restart

  • Enemies killed on long grass don't disintergrate properly

I'm eager to see what you all think of this little demo and most of all: I hope you enjoy it.

Since I've made it painfully obvious something new is in the works, the GameJolt page for Custom Nights With 39 is officially live: https://gamejolt.com/games/CNW39/1000802

Via unknown substance, 39 would escape to what he called his 'Safe Haven'. He became detatched, and would be with his friends again, venturing The Island, quelling all evil that lurked within.

But... All good things come to an end, eventually.

He was forced out by the beast, Plushie still trapped inside, it is unknown if they even survived. 39 was left to wander the streets, alone.

Plushie be like: You're doing that the stupid way, this is how it's done!

The dark is not empty.

I've admittedly spent more time than needed just taking in the environment because it's so relaxing... for me anyway xP

Mess with the buns, get a hook to the face... Simple as that!
