Hello I am Nightmare. I have been rereading Into the pit both the book and the chapter. I have noticed ( This is my own theory) that maybe the world that Oswald finds and the world that he his lives are definitely connected by the pit. But I have noticed that the 1985 world that Oswald plays in is definitely connected to Oswald's actions. Like when he didn't have enough coins the world shoved his pockets full of them. Then when he asked his dad about the history of Jeff's Pizza his dad hesitated and had seemed to be glad that the conversation about the restaurants past was over. On that same day the murders happened. My theory is that this world in 1985 is connected to Oswald and his actions and thoughts. If you would like to say anything that you think that could show that this theory is wrong please type it in the chat.
