Welcome to "Fursona: Sodor Animal Fantasy", the first JRPG set in the world of "Thomas and Friends" involving furries, magical spacemen, and a shady weapons and energy company.

The game first starts out on the final battle between a master and his former apprentice, the Jechta Master Stratus Kenn fights against a Sephiroth-esque figure. Its too late for his ex-apprentice as he take a final lunge against Stratus and is cut down and burnt up. Stratus leaves his opponent to be recovered by the dark Emperor Lattem who turns him into a half-man, half machine being known as Dark Streit...

In a galaxy very close in the present day. Knapford teenager, Zack Edwards journeys out of his mum's house only to chase a strange cat down an abandoned well and meets the Animal Spirit Goddess Toriana and tells Zack that he is chosen to defend Sodor from a evil overlord from beyond the stars and entrusts him with the Rena Krystal and a new form. He now has to find the old man Kenn in Ffarquhar to train with him and find new friends to fight new foes just as well as the American weapons and experimental energy corporation Shin-ra has just set up its new European offices in Vicarstown under strange circumstances...

PLEASE NOTE GAME IN VERY EARLY DEVELOPMENT!

Characters:

Zack Edwards: A teenager turned kemonomimi is the focal character in the game. He has average stats with access to basic magic such as Fire, Healing, Cure, and Earth based magics. Can do good physical damage but not to the extent of other party members.

Stratus Kenn: An old man who was once part of a knighthood in some sort of Intergalactic republic as settled down in the town of Ffarquhar at the end of what is colloquially known as "Thomas' Branchline". He helps Zack by teaching him some of the way of being a Jechta and introduces him to the crafting of Spacesabers. He is a proficent magic user as well as a decent hitter but perhaps one last encounter with Dark Streit may put an end to his party partcipation...

Dan Sulu: A furry smuggler from Tidmouth, he helps out Zack and Stratus in their fight against an evil empire. Uses claws that can attack twice and is a strong physical hitter and has access to good magic that could be used in an offensive support role by unleashing status aliments and stat decreases. Also has access to Water magic attacks.

Alyssa Skarloey: A kitsune sorcerous from the forests of central Sodor where her surname namesake comes from. Not good at physical business but a very good offensive magic user with access to fire and ice based magic.

(OTHER PLAYABLE CHARACTERS WILL BE ADDED AS DEVELOPMENT PROGRESSES)

FEATURES:

• A Crafting system with (at the moment) 90 recipes for various items and exclusive armor and weapons better than those Yanks at Shin-ra can produce!

• The entirety of Sodor to explore with locations from both the TV Series and Railway Series books such as Culdee Fell, Ulfstead Castle, Anopha Quarry, the China Clay Pits, and Brendam Docks. Amongst several different towns and new locations.

• Achievements and an enemy encyclopedia!

• Visustella plugins and such...

Due to the current development, a release date is TBA and new threads in both the RPG Maker forums and the Sodor Island Forums (SiF).
