It's a visual novel after all...

Hi guys~

First, I’d like to thank all of you who have been supporting me since I introduced the game. It made me happy to realize that some people are looking forward to this project, created by me - one who owns nothing but a granny laptop and an IG results paper.

SO!!! I’ve decided to make this game a visual novel - even though I wanted to use rpg maker xp so much, but since the game is more story-telling, so I believe I have made the right decision.

Also, I will be working on the project from now until my course ends (2016 or so). Because its a visual novel, so I have to work on the backgrounds, which will drain my sanity (it’s like Amnesia, but I’m forcing myself), as well as the sprites, which I might not even find the time to actually finish drawing for all the characters.

Moreover, this project will focus on storyline, so some people might be put off by the amount of information the game will give… But I will try to avoid info-dump!!! So cheer for me!!

Thanks again for supporting me, I’m honestly really happy!! :D

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...
