Iteration 3 - Update #4: June 15th, 2025

I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather under the current circumstances in the world today, I am pleased to present Update #4 with you all today! Here's what has been accomplished since Update #3.

  • A full analysis of my writings for Act 1 of the story, summarizing key points of interest.

  • Diving into new loose ends created by Act 1, while removing some from the Prologue section that were better explored in Act 1.

  • Several pages of Intermission 1 written with the ending of Act 1 in mind while also creating a good basis to seamlessly transition into the eventual Act 2 of the story.

Our reevaluation of the roadmap was fairly accurate and a great idea considering we are now a little bit ahead of schedule based on what we've established in Update #3; but this doesn't mean we can afford to fall behind. You may notice I have added another, yet simple task to the August 2025 task list. This is just to keep these updates more consistent with the bulk of the updates.

NOTE: If we complete tasks early, they will be dragged into the section where we completed them early; while new goals will be created to fill out the gaps. (Ex: If we finish the intermission before July, then those will shift down into June 2025 while shifting the other goals from August into July.)

To Do: June 2025

- Begin "Intermission" Section
- Iteration 3 - Update #4: June 15th, 2025
- 25% Completion of "Intermission" by "Update #5"
- Iteration 3 - Update #5: June 30th, 2025

To Do: July 2025

- Iteration 3 - Update #6: July 13th 2025
- 75% Completion of "Intermission" by "Update #7"
- Iteration 3 - Update #7: July 31st 2025

To Do: August 2025

- 100% Completion of "Intermission" by "Update #8"
- Iteration 3 - Update #8: August 16th 2025
- Begin "Act 2" Section
- Iteration 3 - Update #9: August 31st 2025
- Create the next roadmap in Update #9
(September, October, November)

The story of Intermission 1 is greatly altered as opposed to the version seen in our Toronto Game Expo build from last spring, and in turn our Steam Next Fest Demo. Although they will share similarities, the plot is enhanced in this new draft.

Thank you for checking in, I look forward to completion as always! We'll be seeing you once again on June 30th, 2025 for Update #5!
