Hey there,
Since the last time I did an update, we had a significant addition to our team; since our last monthly update, we have made considerable progress
Progress Update
Since the last time, we have been able to practically make a base prototype of the game since Argon's addition. The progress we have made in a month is impressive, and I feel the progress we are making is doing well with our intended set time of releasing the game later this year.
(This is an early w.i.p screenshot of the office. Parts are subject to possible change, and parts may not be final.)
The challenge we had during our brainstorming sessions in December was developing a unique game loop that would challenge the player more than other games have typically done before. With where the game is heading as of now, the game will be very player-orientated, and keeping focus and thinking ahead will be your most important factor to survival.
Art Overhaul
If you've been following the gamepage for a while, you'll notice the gamepage has received a significant graphical overhaul; featuring a new banner and thumbnail to boot with the game's updated artstyle. With where the art is heading, the game will be the most visually distinct, and atmospheric artstyle I've done with my projects, and I can't wait to see how people will react to the graphics.
And that concludes what we had to show for this monthly. Once again, I like to take a moment again to thank everyone for helping the game to surpass 100 followers on Christmas. It was a lovely gift to receive from the community, and I appreciate the support this project has received in the year and a half the page has been up. Thanks for reading this far if you've made it here, and we'll see you again in the February Update.
