Legend has it that on the first ever Joltober, an account was created called User347. It was pretty niche at the time it was made, no one really knew about it because Gamejolt itself was pretty obscure back then. A bit into Joltober, a teenager by the name of Finnigan heard a tale that if you logged onto a site named Gamejolt in the late night and searched for a "user three forty-seven" you would get a letter from them with an ominous message inside.

Finn, being very desensitized to horror at this point in his life, made a Gamejolt account the very next day and found 347 that night. Just like the tale said, the letter came. This letter said,

"Bravery is a myth."

Finn did not know what to think of this. He went back to sleep.

He had a dream of a yellow cat that night. The yellow cat was named Night. His owner was an graphical artist that worked for Gamejolt. In the dream, the cat was watching his owner draw a character/mascot for Gamejolt, and the cat recognized it very quickly. It was the ninja... but something was off. It was looking downwards, was colored red instead of the standard grayscale, and its eyes were barely visible. Once the owner finished the drawing, he walked to his kitchen and made a cup of coffee. This event was normal for the cat, as it knew it's owner spent a lot of time on its work.

The cat heard the mug being slammed on the floor.

Finn woke up. He checked his clock.

12 am. He had only slept for about 2 hours. This was odd.

He got up and checked the profile again. This time, there was a new post that said,

"Finn, stop pretending to be so brave. We all know you're lying."

'How does it...?' Finn thought.

The next day he was having a lot of migraines. This was not normal for him. It had never happened in his life, except for 2 other occasions that were years ago at this point.

He checked the profile once again after he finished his breakfast.

"Migraine trouble? I know how that feels. Sometimes I stay up for hours on end because of them..."

Finn could not sleep that night.

As far as his family knew, Finn died of, supposedly, pulling too many all-nighters for assignments. His memorial was held at 3:47pm on October 31st.
