‘Log 1’ - Recorded on May 26th, 1999:
“Testing, testing… okay, it’s working. Hello there, my name is John Amber, the main creator of Milo’s Pizza Land. I’m recording this on a cassette player for new employees that are looking forward to work in this establishment. Right now, we’ve received a lot of important stuff from our partner company called Lightimatronics Co., which is essential for our business plan.
There are boxes containing props, arcade machines, and many other things. But the most important aspect about this project are the animatronic characters. The main inspiration behind this idea comes from other animatronic themed restaurants that includes ‘Pizza Time Theater’, ‘Showbiz Pizza Place’, and… sighs the one with the bear in it.
Anyways, me and my co-partner James Lynn, who is also helping with this project, partnered up with Lightimatronics Co. to create these handmade animatronics. These animatronic characters are built and programmed with advanced AI to be able to walk freely around the restaurant, and interact with children and adults alike. While the partner company has reportedly described them to be safe to use, they’ll still enlisted us with blueprints and instructions on if the animatronics malfunction during one of their stage performances.
And that’s where you, the person listening to this, comes in. In case one of the animatronic characters breaks down during or before a performance, you will be instructed to run several maintenance tests on them to figure out the issue with them, using the given blueprints. Follow them properly and don’t mess up the process. Once fixed, report the solution on a sticky note, and return the animatronic to their respective place for their next show.
That’s it for today’s log. Thank you for listening, and welcome to the family! Remember that you always have a lifelong purpose here at Milo’s Pizza Land.”
