I loved the FNAF movie. In the UK the age rating is very high so I just watched it at home. It was amazing. I loved the kills, references, cameos, everything about it. I don’t see why critics hate it, but as a fan I have extreme bias towards all things FNAF. I loved all the scenes with the animatronics, it really felt alive and my only criticism was that William Afton got very little screen time, only like 10 minutes towards the end. I liked all the references especially, like the cupcake’s victim being called Carl, or Sparky the dog being referenced in a diner AND as an animatronic, the springlocks doll also resembled the one from that fazbear frights book too which was pretty cool. The Freddy Kill was pretty cool as well. Overall I’d give the film a 9/10, I loved it and I will definitely watch it again, but I did sort of expect more killing and more lore, but hopefully that’ll be covered in any future films.
