+ Getting hit while blocking will cause all damage to be ignored, even if its supposed to hurt you, (white damage markers)
+ Hitting an enemy in rapid succession after blocking 3+ will give more stamina back than stamina lost.
+Swing really fast (Bayonet swing speed / speed per swing)
+Shield has lights attached (very minor, but could help in dark maps that dont give flashlights, example: 2 DAYS LATER blackout section)
+doesn't have a multi-hit limit from what I know
-Getting hit will cause you to lose stamina
-Significantly slower movement speed (general)
-No skull split (head shot) damage bonus
-No parrying
-Terrible Damage Per Swing
