Just some of my favorite art from a game I made awhile ago in a rush for school. Don't judge me off this stuff cause I wasn't trying :)

The basic gist of the game was you'd go through a multiverse of bosses defeating bosses in a boss rush style to restore order and rid the worlds of chaos (and yes I sprinkled in hidden lore). I made the game before I had any knowledge of what good game development looked like, so it didn't come out very good.

Here's a list of explanations for the images in order:

  1. Kimchop
Kimchop was the first boss in the game, and the player had to defeat him to retrieve the backroom key and advance to the next boss, Bulgogre. His story isn't much other than that he is best friends with Bulgogre and was the head chef at Ki-Hak's diner

  2. Ki-Hak's Kitchen
Ki-Hak owns his own Korean restaurant, so of course he has a kitchen. This is the background for Kimchop's fight.

  3. Sharkfin Beach
Sharkfin Beach is the second level of the game. You can guess the boss that's in this level.

  4. Harpoon Icon
This icon represented when the player had collected a harpoon, allowing them to damage Snapjaw, the final boss in Sharkfin Beach.

I have dozens of other pieces of pixel art from the game, but they are terrible. If you want to see them or see expanded versions of any of this post's art, like and comment!
