The world is divided into multiple universes(you can travel through em but well disccus that later) these are mostly all different and are not " same as this verse but this guy scratchs his ass"
Each one has their own set of divinities, be it the Greek gods the nordic ones or 6he pastafarian one. This is an important plot point. You see, one day, the Greek God Zeus accidentaly fucked up and eliminated humanity in his own verse. Unable to live without whom to be feared by, he and the rest of the gods invaded another universe, killed it's gods and replaced them. But it happened again. And again. And- you get the idea. Alongside the way poseidon rebelled and zeus killed him, replacing the role of "God of the sea" with Thetis. The universe were gon focus on is no different.
This world has ✨️ magic ✨️. It is a "substance" which can be found in almost all of the world and in all creatures. However, using it in its "pure" form is hard, and even if you're able to, not doing right/ doing it too often can be very harmful. Instead, it is easier to handle if you "mix" it with an element. For example, it would be more versatile to use a "fireball" rather than a "magic missile". You can either do magic "because you're born with the ability to do so" (which usually limits what specific elements you can control with it) or by obtaining a staff with special cristals (which lets you do most spells and elements, but needs studying. And it's a lot to study. Why do you think most wizzards are old men Jake.)
Also there's like a wizard council that acts like a UN.
There's also this "spirit" called Hado, which is a manifestation of destiny itself, and does not show herself upon neither most mortals nor gods. If I make it a game, you'll be controlling her, and any decision you take is actually taken to her will.
