Once upon a time in Dream Land, something terrible happened - a dark star creature named Starkin began to conquer and fill it with darkness. Kirby, the hero of Dream Land, woke up to see what was happening. He called out his warp star to stop Starkin, but the creature mind-controlled the warp star and exploded it against Kirby. This damaged Kirby, who was left floating in space unable to save Dream Land. However, a fairy from a planet called Dreamverse came to Kirby's rescue and brought him to their world. Upon waking up in the beautiful Dreamverse, the fairy asked Kirby if he was the hero of Dream Land, to which he nodded yes. The fairy then asked for his help to stop Starkin and save the Faires from the Shadow Forces from becoming powerful.
