Welcome to the June 6th 2024 Edition of the Leftory Custom Night Devlog!
After a long absence (exactly one month!), I'm finally back! It's time to show a lot of new LCN stuff, including its new logo, the new characters coming in the next major update, and a very special surprise at the end!
Ready? Here we go!
1/4: Laptop Sheldon!
Sheldon's old Aggressive Change kinda sucked, so it's getting reworked in Update 0.8.0! Laptop Sheldon will spawn at either the left or right side, instead of always at the right, and you'll have to knock on the corresponding vent opening. Knocking on the vent opening at the opposite side won't do anything! He's still pretty easy to deal with, but this adds yet another thing to think and worry about while playing.
2/4: New Characters!
Three new characters are being added to the roster in LCN Version 0.8.0! They are all part of the Leftory's Favorite Sitcom Characters category.
Barney Stinson replaces Monke. You have to slap him when he shows up, otherwise he'll take you out!
Jake Peralta will arrest you if you don't collect his Heist Belt when it spawns!
Finally, see how the Leftory hallucination showed up near the end of the video, but Leftory wasn't actually there? That's the work of Alan Harper, who will impersonate characters to distract you and throw you off. There are certain tells for his mimics though, so watch out and stay vigilant!
3/4: New Logo!
LCN has a brand new logo! It replaces the old one in-game and in the Gamejolt page soon. Also in Devlogs of course!
The logo isn't final, so feel free to leave any feedback or constructive criticism you might wanna share in the comments!
4/4: Version 0.8.0 Release Date
Finally, Leftory Custom Night Version 0.8.0 will come out on June 13th 2024 at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time!
That's right! The update's coming out next week! Thank you for patiently waiting for this version. It's been almost 3 months since the last major update.
I apologize for the radio silence between the last Devlog and this one. I said I'd try to post more frequently and then just dipped for a whole month! How silly of me.
I guess that's all for today's Devlog. See ya next week!
