Let's talk about Bethan & Owain


I've decided that I will be ending development on Bethan & Owain indefinitely as there is so much that I need to do with my games like updating Evolution, revisiting old projects like MantaByte, Ruckus and Caveman Game :), releasing the early access for The Guys (I will get to that soon, I just haven't been able to work on it recently) and also the 2 massive games, Lizards in Crime and Micaela need to be developed and having a third massive game to work on is too much stress for me to deal with.

To be honest, I jumped the gun on this game by announcing it too early without any gameplay and just music for it, which I hold dear because with them, it changed my methods of music development altogether and they also go so hard. In hindsight, I should've made a bit more of a game before I announced it, like with Lizards in Crime, The Guys and Micaela as examples. Albeit much wasn't made gameplay-wise for those games when I first announced them. With Bethan & Owain, I had made art for them but that was about it, nothing else for that game was made when I announced it.

Also, I couldn't have started making this game at a worse time given the fact that there were builders and stuff at my house around that time which, (even now) has diminished how much I work on my games.

So, in conclusion, Bethan & Owain will probably never see the light of day. Just like Evolution, I might revisit the game at some point, but with this, it is HIGHLY unlikely. If you were excited about this game, I'm sorry.
