life update, 1.2 progress


life has not gotten any easier unfortunately! i do not want to get into specific details as it's hard to talk about due to sensitive topic matter but to be entirely brief my parents are going through marital problems and i will likely have to live on my own for the foreseeable future. as such most of my time has been devoted to saving up money via other endeavors and jobhunting. (donations are very appreciated wink wink) despite this i've had time to work on 1.2. it's still happening. it coming out slower doesn't mean i've abandoned the series, and i'm attaching a video teasing one of 4 new additional towermode enemies. hopefully it should satiate you all.

on that note, setting some boundaries - if you want to suggest things, keep in mind most additional content has been planned for months and i do not plan on changing my plans for this game's future. regarding potential additions, most of what i'd consider would be simple quality of life changes (eg - keybindings, working on it. game's programmed around a specific control layout so it's a bitch to rework). also a mobile port would be impossible as that would be copyright infringement should it be uploaded to the play store - shooting that common request down. the dupes will be made public once 1.2 drops. and for the record 1.2 will be THE LAST content update for the game. i have many projects on the backburner, including future forays into the horror genre, so don't expect a sequel. this game was first and foremost made to learn GMS 2 and exists as a stepping stone for me to make a better, completely original topdown survival horror someday in the future now that i know what i'm doing

also for the record, please do not go to my other socials just to beg for CTI content. i keep most CTI talk here, where it's necessary. my twitter and tumblr are mostly just for unrelated art or my webcomic work - you won't find CTI related content there.
