Hello there everyone! I've come to make a devlog of sorts to let you all know what's been going on behind the scenes! No, I'm not dead, I've just been quite busy as of late. Not only have I been working on other projects, but school and work has been taking up a good chunk of my time. However, that's enough yodeling, let's get into the actual post.
So first off, I want to explan the status of all of the upcoming/recent games on my page. First is Mr. Krabs's Night of Terror 2.0, which recently came out last year. The game will still be receiving updates, but most of them won't come out until Toadder25 has verified the official version of Worst Day Ever (True Showdown with All Challenges). What that entails I don't want to reveal just yet, but just know that he's working hard on it and that there will be a whole other route of difficulty waiting for when the build that he verifies becomes public!
Secondly is Goofy Silly Encounters. I've been suspiciously quiet about this game for quite some time now, and that's for a good reason. I've been holding off production on this game for a while now in order to work on other projects like Krabs 2.0 and another game that I will be discussing shortly. The truth is that not only have I been focusing on games that I feel I would like to get done before GSE, but the scope of this game has changed quite a bit.
Since I first programmed the game, I have learned a LOT about Clickteam as an engine, and I've even reprogrammed the entire game once at this point to hold up to the standard of coding that I now embark on my games. Regardless, just know that it's not dead, just on ice for a little while until these other projects get concluded.
Lastly, I haven't JUST been working on Krabs 2.0 all this time. There's been another project that's been taking up my time as well. It won't be as extensive as Goofy Silly Encounters, and hell, its overall content is probably going to be smaller than Krabs 2.0 as well, but this should be my highest quality game yet, and hopefully one that you guys will all enjoy upon release. I already have beta testing rolling through this and I'll do my best to ensure that this game comes out the highest quality and most well-balanced that I can make it!
I don't want to reveal what it is quite yet, but I will give you all a promotional render for the game, which will hopefully do the talking for me. This also commemorates the birthday of a specific someone. See you all soon!
