Howdy!

So as the title suggests, I’m looking for voice actors for the final version of the game. I’m aiming to break the boundaries of what makes a UT fan-game, and so far I’ve done multiplayer, so the next step is to try voice-acting!

I’m basically looking for basic random NPC noises, just like those you would find in Breath of the Wild, for example. Things like noises and grunts that can play when someone is speaking. I’m also looking for talented voice actors, willing to work for free, of course, who want to take on roles of the main cast.

I’m currently looking for people to do the voices of:

• The Great Papyrus

• Asgore

• Unknown old evil man

These roles have already been taken:

• Gaster the Scientist

• Flowey the Flower

• Sans the Skeleton

If you want to try out for the roles, here’s how to do it:

• Go to the DF discord. You can find it in the description of this gamejolt page.

• On the Discord server, try to find my profile and private message me with a recording of your audio clips for me to review.

• I will listen to your audio and decide whether or not I want to use you or not, please do not be offended if I say no.

If you want an example for the random NPCs, just take a look at footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and see NPC interaction and the phrases and sounds they make. Simple “hi”s, laughs, grunts, chuckles, whatever. You could also take a look at the Glitchtale series and the audio that plays when characters speak.

If you want an example for the specific roles mentioned above - first of all please be aware you will be reading out full lines for possible cutscenes, and so you MUST have experience - here’s what I need for each current available role. For Gaster, take a listen to the Gaster voice featured in the Studio Catbird comic dub of “Man Who Speaks in Hands”. Something similar to that would be quite ideal for Gaster’s character in this game. For Papyrus, pretty much almost everyone gets him right anyway, but my headcanon voice for him is something like that featured in the Underfell fan-game with voice-acting, so if you can get that done that’d be excellent!

So, just to be clear, you are not going to get paid for this, it is voluntary work. However, your name will appear in the end credits of the game as well as in this game-page’s description. Also, if you get a major role you must prove yourself trustworthy, as you will be told about certain plotpoints of the game, and if you were to leak them, not only would you be immediately fired, but I would also cease all contact with you, block you on any platform necessary, and ban you forever from the multiplayer modes, as well as a few other things I should probably not mention. For your sake, don’t risk it.

Anyway, yeah, if you’d like to try, feel absolutely free to! As long as you use common sense, are 16+, have a good quality mic, and are willing to be a part of this project, then everything should go smoothly! I look forward to hearing from you!

Also, the game is going good, Update 13 is probably about 60% done, and as I’ve been taking a break recently, I don’t know how fast it’ll get done. I haven’t taken a break in ages so I’ll take however long I want, please do not test my patience like a few already have. The final game is also going fine - I have some fantastic ideas going and a decent storyline so I hope it’ll be something worthwhile when it’s all done.
