JadeJohnson:
I'm afraid I have a confession to make!
Nearly every Christian has that ONE almost-unforgivably-secular song that they'll always love and remember as the first adult-pop song they heard as a teenager:
I haven't actively listened to "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies", by Panic! At The Disco; in over sixteen years! And yet, I was still able to nearly-PERFECTLY cover its instrumental off the top of my head, without even studying the original... ONCE! And although I did look-up the lyrics to cover some of them and alter the rest, I still never actually listened to them in order to study their pitches: that's just-how emblazoned-into-my-mind that track's radio-edit once was when I only had thirteen years behind me!
Anyway, I thankfully turned, "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies", by Panic! At The Disco, Christianity-Approved! Check it out!
I changed, "is a (five-letter-word), to, "I don't like";
I modified the phrase meaning, "deity-condemned", into, "Dog-Gone";
And I altered, "pour the (alcoholic beverage", to now be sung as, "let grape juice rain"!
You could say that I'm boss at cleaning-up other people's lyrics and still having the beats line-up, eh?
I definitely feel better having gotten that off of my chest! Now that I have, please enjoy, and as always, "Happy Jading!™"
