mini “devlog” 3: the final decree


it's been about a month since i last made one of these, so i figured i should probably make another so y'all can be a bit more up to speed on how development is going:


before i get into the development side of things, @Bop__ has composed a new OST for the game! check it out on the game page now, it's the one called "Avarice"


now, for the development stuff... it's going really well!

i've (basically) fully formulated my plans for the postgame, and i've been working hard on it! (y'all have probably seen that from the few teasers i've shared)

i generally don't like saying what % complete any of my projects are, as i've learned the hard way that it's not too good of an idea to give numbers like that because plans can easily change and that ends up throwing those numbers off.

however, i know how much people love getting those numbers and i'm confident enough that my plans for this part of the postgame won't be changing at all.

the current part of the postgame i'm working on (segment 1, if you will) is about 45% done.

as for the entire game, i'm very unsure about what % completion it's at, but the entirety of the main 5 nights is complete (with the exception of the captions being fully implemented, and playtesting has yet to happen) and like i said earlier i'm about 45% done with segment 1 of the postgame.

there's five total planned postgame segments, some of which will take less time to make than others (i think) and i'm very happy with how the game is coming along so far.


about a month and a half ago, i was feeling like this game wouldn't be able to top my previous game (Five Nights With The Boys PLUS) but now i'm very confident that it will. i'm excited for y'all to finally play what i've been working so hard on since february! :D

idk how much longer it's gonna be until then, but if all goes well this game should be out by the end of august (that's when i'm heading off to college)
