Minor Bug Fix

7/14/2018

I found and resolved a game-breaking bug in the pause/menu system. The menu toggle/pause function was written to deactivate all active objects in play and redraw them in a paused state to the screen in the exact state they were in on the frame they were paused on.

On some levels, toggling ESC drew objects from previous rooms. In other levels (e.g. Level 03), pausing the game, then pressing ESC again to return would not draw objects back into the play field, leaving a blank background instead.

I did not catch this error at the time of release as the issue only seemed to appear on specific levels, and behaved differently depending on which level the menu was toggled on…

In any case, the issue is resolved now, and I have published an update to the game.

Enjoy!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
